Although colored moles are said to be more worrisome than those that are all the same color, moles that are the same color can be alarming as well. Some moles that are cancerous can also be the same color as your skin, like in cases of amelanotic melanoma. For example, some people of color have brown spots that tend to look glassy, which sometimes indicates cases of basal cell carcinoma. Meanwhile, fair-skinned people may have moles that either pearly or pink in color, matching their skin color as well.
