7. White Ring Around Iris

When a white, gray, or blue ring form around the iris made mostly from cholesterol, this condition is known as arcus senilis. Despite its alarming appearance, it doesn’t always mean that it’s a serious condition. In fact, most of the time, this is a common sign of aging. However, it could also be an indication of high cholesterol and triglycerides. Because high cholesterol is linked to an increased risk of heart attack or stroke, it’s still something that needs to get checked out by a doctor.
