If you happen to be a contact lens user, beware of getting white dots or spots on the cornea of your eye – the clear layer in front of your iris. Experts share that this is actually quite a common symptom for those that wear contact lenses, which actually indicates that you have a corneal infection. Other symptoms include swelling, pain, and even changes to your vision at times. If this happens to you, be sure to get medical help as soon as possible because if left untreated, the side effects can lead to unwanted issues such as scars, astigmatism, cataracts and other unsightly issues.
